Napolitano’s Statement on Terrorist Attack in Manchester

(Washington, DC) Today, Rep. Grace F. Napolitano (D-El Monte) released the following statement on yesterday’s terrorist attack on an arena in Manchester, England, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring 59:

“Our hearts join all of the United Kingdom in grieving the innocent lives slain, and we mourn with their families. We send prayers of healing to the dozens who were hurt, as our minds are filled with the faces of people of all ages who fled the arena searching for safety and consoling embraces of loved ones. We condemn this gruesome act and stand hand in hand with the United Kingdom and democracies around the world, vowing to overcome this evil.”
