Napolitano Secures Millions for Water Projects, Youth Challenge & Mental Health
(WASHINGTON, DC) This week, Rep. Grace F. Napolitano (D-El Monte) voted for H.R. 2740, the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, Defense, State, Foreign Operations, and Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act of 2020, in which she secured millions of federal dollars for water projects, the National Guard Youth Challenge Program, and life-saving mental health services.
"I am pleased the bill we passed includes much of the critical funding I requested on behalf of San Gabriel Valley residents, agencies, and businesses," Napolitano said. "From greater investment in clean water and dam safety to helping at-risk youth and expanding mental health services, it prioritizes the well-being of hard-working families in our region and across the nation. As the House considers additional funding bills this year, I will continue to put first the needs of the people of my district."
