Rep. Napolitano Addresses the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce
(San Dimas, CA) Today, Rep. Grace F. Napolitano (CA-32) spoke at the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce's legislative forum at the San Dimas Community Hospital.
"Thank you for inviting me here this morning to discuss the most salient issues affecting our region," Napolitano told the audience. "Whether it involves local transportation projects or challenges to small business growth, my dedicated staff and I are committed to working across all sectors to find solutions. It is a privilege to represent this area and to make your voices heard in Washington."
In addition to responding to questions raised by the Chamber of Commerce regarding the economy, transportation projects, water and California's drought, small business, and immigration reform, Napolitano provided details on current legislation moving through Congress. She sponsored important provisions for Los Angeles County in H.R. 3080, the Water Resources and Reform Development Act (WRRDA) that will expand water supply, flood control, and recreation projects in the region. Napolitano expects the major bipartisan bill to be signed into law in the coming weeks.
Napolitano encouraged attendees to provide feedback to her El Monte District Office and submit legislative priorities for the city and region. She is the top Democrat on the House Natural Resources Committee's Water and Power Subcommittee and the senior California Democrat on the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee.
